Is TaskPulse really free?+
Yes — TaskPulse is free during early access. No credit card, no per-seat fees. Pricing for larger teams will be introduced later, and any plan available today stays free for you.
How is this different from Slack or Asana?+
TaskPulse keeps your team's focus on one thing at a time. Each task has its own thread, files, and history — no separate workspaces, no jumping between apps. The desktop panel keeps it in the corner of your screen instead of stealing it.
How does TaskPulse handle privacy?+
Focus tracking is opt-in per user, can be paused any time, and never records what you type or what's on your screen. We only see which window is active and your Yes/No answer when we ask if it's task-related.
Will my team feel surveilled?+
We designed against that. Tracking is opt-in, snoozable, and the data only flows up as aggregate stats — managers see 'team had 14 interruptions this week,' never an individual's window history. Read the Privacy page for specifics.
What platforms do you support?+
Windows 10/11, macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), and Linux (AppImage or Debian package). The web dashboard runs in any modern browser, including on mobile.
Can I bring my whole team?+
Yes. After signing up you're the workspace owner. Invite teammates by email from the Team page — they sign in with Google and you're done.
What happens to my data?+
Your tasks, chat, and files are private to your workspace. We don't sell them, mine them, or train AI on them. You can export everything any time — drop us a line at [email protected].
Do you have a mobile app?+
The dashboard works in your phone's browser. A native mobile app isn't on the near-term roadmap — TaskPulse really shines on the desktop, where focus actually happens.
